What brought you here?

I joined SWT when I was a university student. I was looking for a job, then Alex Heck suggested me to apply at Skywave Technologies. So, I got an opportunity to work in the Junior admin role.

I think because of my potential and dedication, my boss supported my move into the Marketing area. Since then, I developed my skills in technology, customer service and sales.

What do you enjoy most?

I find great joy in working with my team on any projects where our collaboration leads to creative solutions that satisfy our clients.

Best career moments

One of the most rewarding moments in my career was being promoted. It’s not only for advancement/money benefits, but it’s more about my work was acknowledged by management. This recognition boosted my motivation beyond money!

Advice to young tech / MKT

I think it’s important to never stop learning, and never be scared to take challenges.
Be visible and unique and take initiative. Developing strong communication skills, especially for a young professional, it’s very helpful to have a good mentor to guide you into the right direction.

Can AI replace you?

Replace me? No, I do use AI for some tasks, but replacing me? I don’t think so. I work in a service-oriented company, I provide better service, better communication to clients than AI ever could. I bring professionalism and a human touch.

Why are you better than AI?

Because of my ethics, my personality, and ability to adapt to various situations. For my job, this will give other people a higher experience level of professionalism.

The hardest part in your career

I cannot really think about any ‘hardest part’ of my career as it always has been a mix of fun and challenges. Maybe what hasn’t come easily for me is being in the spotlight. If possible i prefer to be in the back. But in my job, Marketing is all about ‘visibility’. So, with support from our team’s motto ‘ You can do it’, I push myself to step out of my comfort zone. And every time I do it, I feel very proud of myself!

Where are you going

Looking ahead in my career, I aim to further develop my skills and become a mentor for my (young) colleagues and continue driving a good culture of SWT
